Our Story

Alexandra and Cody’s story began in a way that feels perfectly them, through late nights, shared laughter, and streaming video games on Twitch. What started as simple conversations quickly grew into something neither of them could ignore.

From the very beginning, Cody saw Alexandra as someone who was endlessly fun to be around and beautiful beyond belief. Alexandra saw Cody as a kind, happy ray of sunshine, someone whose warmth made everything feel a little brighter. Before long, what they had became something deeper. They became each other’s steady place, two people who could always lean on one another, no matter what life brought.

Their first date came with a few nerves, especially for Cody. Though he tried to hide it, Alexandra saw right through him and gently called him out, a moment that perfectly captured the honesty and connection they would build their relationship on. Not long after, everything became clear. Cody made the decision to leave behind everything he knew and move to Colorado to be with Alexandra and her family. It was a leap of faith, but more importantly, it was a choice for them.

Together, Alexandra and Cody are a perfect balance. Alexandra is creative, strong, and deeply caring, always encouraging Cody when he needs it most. Cody is kind, optimistic, and endlessly supportive. Whether they are spending time with their beloved samoyed Bella, playing video games, crafting, or dreaming about their next Disney adventure, they have built a life filled with love, laughter, and little moments that mean everything.

On their first trip to Walt Disney World, Cody planned a surprise that would become one of their favorite memories. After watching the Happily Ever After fireworks, he led Alexandra to a quiet bridge at Port Orleans Riverside. As he got down on one knee, Alexandra thought he had tripped and fallen, her concern quickly turning into joy as she realized what was happening. In that magical moment, she said yes.

Now, Alexandra and Cody look ahead to a lifetime together, full of new memories, shared dreams, and a love that continues to grow stronger with each passing day. Cody is most excited to spend forever beside the person he loves more than anything, building a life together and never taking a single day for granted. Alexandra is most excited for every memory still to come, and for a lifetime with the one she fell in love with.
